Goodbye London

Goodbye London. You’ve been good to us!

We’ve quit our jobs, sold our awesome house, and put our belongings on a ship en route to New Zealand. We’ve set off on a road trip around Europe as one last farewell to a part of the world we’ve called home for the last 14 years of our lives. We’re going to visit one last time some of our favourite haunts, but along the way also go to some amazing new places.

For the next 11 weeks our home is a Volkswagen Caddy camper car. Meet Nora (from the North Star clan, i.e. her actual name)!

We hope to visit about fifteen countries and expect to drive some 10,000 kilometres. Although we’ve got a rough idea of where we want to go, we’re letting the road dictate the rest. Over the coming months we aim to publish weekly updates (internet access willing) and record interesting trip stats along the way.

Please say hi if you see us on the road. And if it looks like we’re heading your way, we can always do with a flat patch of earth to park the camper or pitch our tent! 😉
